Getting Started with Your Trezor Wallet
Unbox Your Trezor Device
Carefully unbox your Trezor hardware wallet. Inside, you will find the Trezor device, a USB cable, recovery seed cards, and a user manual.
Connect Your Trezor Device
Use the provided USB cable to connect your Trezor device to your computer.
Visit the Trezor Website
Open your web browser and navigate to the official Trezor website. Download the Trezor Bridge, which allows your browser to communicate with the Trezor device.
Setting Up Your Trezor Wallet
Open Trezor Suite
Once the Trezor Bridge is installed, go to Trezor Suite, the official Trezor wallet management application. Open Trezor Suite on your computer.
Initialize Your Trezor Device
Select "Create a new wallet" in Trezor Suite. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Trezor device. You will be prompted to choose a PIN code. Use the device's touchscreen to enter and confirm your PIN.
Backup Your Recovery Seed
Your Trezor device will display a recovery seed phrase. Write down each word in the exact order on the provided recovery seed card. This phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if the device is lost or damaged. Keep it secure and never share it with anyone.
Confirm Your Recovery Seed
Trezor Suite will prompt you to confirm your recovery seed by selecting the correct words in the order they were displayed. This ensures you have accurately recorded your recovery seed.
Using Your Trezor Wallet
Add Cryptocurrency Accounts
In Trezor Suite, you can add accounts for different cryptocurrencies. Click on "Accounts" and select "Add account." Choose the cryptocurrency you want to manage and follow the prompts to add the account.
View Your Portfolio
Your dashboard will display an overview of your portfolio, including balances and recent transactions for each added account.
Send and Receive Cryptocurrency
To send cryptocurrency, click on the "Send" tab, select the account to send from, and enter the recipient's address and amount. Confirm the transaction on your Trezor device. To receive cryptocurrency, click on the "Receive" tab, select the account to receive into, and display your address to the sender. Confirm the address on your Trezor device.
Check Transaction History
In the "Accounts" section, you can view detailed transaction history for each of your cryptocurrency accounts.
